AI-Powered Water Treatment Technology Achieves Another Breakthrough – Aomei Environment Successfully Selected for Jinan's "Open Competition for Key Research Projects" Approval List

Recently, Jinan Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology officially announced the list of approved projects under the 2025 Science and Technology Plan's "open competition mechanism to select the best candidates" initiative. The project "R&D of an Intelligent Dosing Control System for Water Treatment Driven by AI Model Control", led by AMS Environment, was successfully selected. Categorized under the special equipment industry chain direction for enterprise technological needs, the project was jointly undertaken by Shandong Academy of Sciences Institute of Automation and Jinan Xinjina Remote Measurement and Control Co., Ltd. Its implementation plan passed rigorous expert review and demonstration, marking authoritative recognition at the municipal level for AMS Environment's technological research direction in the field of intelligent water treatment.

As a key measure for Jinan to strengthen enterprises' dominant position in innovation and address industrial technological bottlenecks, the 2025 "open competition mechanism" projects closely align with the development needs of the "13+34" key industrial chains. It sets four types of lists: enterprise technological needs, innovation system construction, district/county characteristic industries, and key work tasks, focusing on critical technological challenges urgently needed to be solved for the city's industrial development and extensively pooling collaborative innovation forces from enterprises, academia, and research institutes. AMS Environment's approved project accurately targets the pain points of traditional dosing methods in the water treatment industry, such as reliance on manual decision-making, severe chemical waste, and insufficient water quality stability, innovatively integrating AI model control technology with water treatment processes.

This intelligent dosing control system will dynamically adjust chemical dosage by real-time monitoring of water quality parameters to achieve precise on-demand dosing. It not only improves water treatment efficiency and water quality safety but also significantly reduces chemical consumption and labor costs, providing technical support for the industry's green and low-carbon transformation. Leveraging the scientific research advantages of Shandong Academy of Sciences Institute of Automation and the technological transformation capabilities of Jinan Xinjina Remote Measurement and Control, the project forms a collaborative innovation model of "enterprises put forward demands, research institutes tackle key problems, and the market promotes transformation". This model not only conforms to the development trend of collaborative innovation in the special equipment industry chain but also injects new momentum into the high-end and intelligent upgrading of the industrial chain.
